AFS develops active global citizens determined to make the world a better place.
AFS Intercultural Exchanges is the Hong Kong partner of a global non-profit organization founded in 1947 and operating in nearly 60 countries to provide intercultural learning. In the Pre-Covid years, AFS Hong Kong hosted and sent some 200 participants on year exchange programs. During Covid, these numbers and the level of engagement with our stakeholders have diminished. Post Covid, AFS Hong Kong aims to grow back to those similar levels.
Although staff-run, AFS relies on a global network of tens of thousands of alumni, families and other volunteers to deliver the AFS experience, which has transformed the lives of 500,000 participants for more than 70 years.
