Immerse in a foreign language environment for 2-4 weeks, study a topic at a local secondary school, live in school dormitory or with a host family. Suitable for local secondary school students.

AFS 2025 Selected Summer Study Tour

  1. Include airport pick up, accommodation, meals, school fee, textbooks, medical insurance, orientations and local support.
  2. NOT include air ticket & travel insurance. Participants need to book the ticket by their own and arrive at the designated airport on the designated date.

  • Two applicants apply summer exchange program together, each applicant must provide the other applicant’s full name and mobile phone number on the registration form to activate this offer.
  • Two applicants must apply for same program (destination) to activate this offer.
  • The applicant submits the online application and fully pays the program fee on or before 16 Feb. 2025 with another applicant, they will each entitle a discount of HK$1,500.

Denmark (Ranum International Summer School)

  • Come to an international summer school at Danish “EFTERSKOLE” (boarding school) exploring cultural differences, practicing English, enjoying in-depth leisure activities.
  • Stay at Ranum Efterskole College to experience an amazing community with young people from all over the world.
  • Students can choose both essential courses like English, Science etc. and also more active or creative classes like outdoor, design etc. as their own course program.
  • Join various extracurricular activities in the afternoons/evenings to gain a good understanding of Danish language, history and culture.

Spain (Malaga : Spanish learning & culture experience)

  • Improve your Spanish during the program in Málaga (Spain) with formal study and first-hand cultural experience
  • Live in a boarding school and study with AFS students from all over the world and learn to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Participate in fruitful activities and trips to gain an in-depth understanding of the local culture such as museum visits, football experience and city tours.
  • Take up to 80 hours of Spanish classes to learn one of the most spoken languages in the world.
  • Participate in classroom activities that focus on intercultural learning, self-confidence, personal growth, and teamwork.
  • Join recreational activities such as beach, mountain climbing, ball games, etc.

Ireland (STEM learning)

  • Participate in 60 hours lesson of learning Arabic language and cultural exchanges.

Kenya (Wildlife & Climate Change Program)

  • Location: Nairobi
  • Wildlife and climate change project
  • Community service at a children’s care center
  • Learning about Masai culture
  • Studying the impacts of climate change and responses: exploring the world-famous Masai Mara from Nairobi, Kitengela, Naivasha, and Narok
  • Best time to observe wildlife migration

Tunisia (Summer French Learning)

  • No prior French or Tunisian required
  • 60 hours of intensive French classes each week
  • Cultural excursions and outdoor activities
  • First excursion: Explore the capital, Medina, Carthage, archaeological sites, Bardo Museum, and Sidi Bou Said village.
  • Second excursion: Two-day visit during the third weekend. Visit Sousse, Mahdia, and El Jem, tour the El Jem amphitheater, and attend a concert (International Festival of Symphonic Music).
  • Explore Tunisia’s capital, old towns, archaeological sites, and museums
  • ^Optional extension itinerary to explore unique Berber architecture
  • Visit Tozeur, the oases, Star Wars filming locations in Matmata, and Chenini with its unique Berber architecture, with a stop in Kairouan.

Canada (Ottawa or Montreal)

  • The program will take place in a major Canadian City, either Montreal or Ottawa.
  • Participants will attend English lessons in the morning and explore Montreal or Ottawa in the afternoon through various activities.
  • Live in host family and participate in fruitful activities and trips to gain an in-depth understanding of the local culture.
  • Live and study in an English-speaking environment to improve your English proficiency from daily life.

Paraguay (Eco-Friendly Summer Program)

    • No prior Spanish required
    • Focus on sustainability: participants engage in workshops led by experienced professionals
